I dont know why when doing a group booking you can have people paying a different price when they have same inside or ocean cabins they should give you enough space in one catagory for your whole group at the same prices.. when your customers fine out the prices are different you have to make up some sad reasons..im beiging to hate group booking ..and i held my cabins with one of carnival group dep.

Thank for contacting us.  We love the opportunity to provide clarification to ensure you are able to communicate the information to our guests with confidence.   There are various reasons why the pricing may be different even though guests are booked in the same inside, ocean view or balcony categories.   In order to manage our inventory effectively while providing various requests for accommodation to our travel partners and guests, we must limit the amount of staterooms we sell in each category.  Staterooms that are requested in a particular category are classified as a “request” with the promise of a rate guarantee. However, if we receive more requests than there are cabins in that category, it will be necessary to upgrade the cabins to a higher category at no additional cost to the guests.  However, if additional requests are added at a later date, the original category and rate may change based on availability.  Additionally, our partners now have the option to book restricted to berth fares into their group (full names and full per person deposit is required) as long as groups are open on the sailing and receive the amenity points at no additional charge.  These factors contribute to price differentials within the same group booking. If you would like to discuss your particular group, please contact us at 800-327-5782. Thank you!

I have looked the whole month of March 2015 on the Fantasy for group space and it’s telling me there is no group space available.

Thanks for contacting us.  I`ve checked each sailing on the Carnival Fantasy for the month of March and do show we still have group space available.  Please call our Group Sales Dept. at 800-327-5782 and one of our sales team members will assist you.  If you are experiencing issues with GoCCL.com, then you can contact eSolutions Support and one of our technical support team members can help walk you through the process.   Since we are looking at sailings in just a few months,  I urge you to contact us ASAP so we can help you create your group.  Thank you.

This was one of your responses in an agenrts complaint about PVP calling her client. ” It is not our policy for planners to call booked guests. Consumers are shopping and searching for the best price and many times they continue to shop around even after holding space with an agency. They do this by visiting Carnival.com or calling 800-Carnival.” Just because the shop for a price on Carnival.com doesn’t mean you should call them. When they shop on Canival.com they do not leave a phone number on your web site. So why are you looking up their information and calling them. If they call Carnival and talk to your PCP they should not ask for the customers phone number in order to get them a price. Why are the PVP’s still calling our clients?

Thank you for your inquiry. We reach out to guests who have registered on the carnival.com site and provided us with a phone number.  When they call in to 800 Carnival we do ask them for a phone number and email address.  If they elect not to provide it we will still offer the same level of service as if they did.
