There are various reasons why the pricing may be different even though guests are booked in the same inside, ocean view or balcony categories. In order to manage our inventory effectively while providing various requests for accommodation to our travel partners and guests, we must limit the amount of staterooms we sell in each category. Staterooms that are requested in a particular category are classified as a “request” with the promise of a rate guarantee. However, if we receive more requests than there are cabins in that category, it will be necessary to upgrade the cabins to a higher category at no additional cost to the guests. However, if additional requests are added at a later date, the original category and rate may change based on availability. Additionally, our partners now have the option to book restricted to berth fares into their group (full names and full per person deposit is required) as long as groups are open on the sailing and receive the amenity points at no additional charge.
