Would be nice if when using the Early Saver rate code, if it would be in bold, red letters several times during the booking process, that the deposit is non-refundable. Additionally, any other restrictions should be listed similarly on any other rate code. Leaves no room for error on anybody’s part.

Thank you for your feedback.  I agree we can do a better job at displaying rate code descriptions.  I will work with the team on finding a better solution.

When doing a name change to replace a passenger in a cabin, I can do it online but only if the previous passenger is not a VIFP (past guest). I have not found a way to remove the VIFP number. Can it be done?

Thank you for your question.  I ran a test replacing a passenger by removing the VIFP number from the current guest, typed over the first & last name and adjusted the date of birth.  GoCCL allowed me to save the changes.  If you are encountering issues with this please feel free to email me the booking number to Nhernandez2@carnival.com so I have test it further.

Have a hard time looking at deck plans on website

Hi Carnival, Can you fix Goccl where when we are berthing an infant into a stateroom it does not get an error message! I continuously have to call in to Carnival to get the birth date fixed becuase I can not put in their real age at the time of booking. Also are you in the process of updating Goccl where we can put in the entire complete name of a guest whose name is longer than the system lets you put in? This is another phone call I always receive from my clients that I have misspelled their name and I have to explain to them that the system does not allow long names. Lastly, I am receiving numerous disappointed clients that are unhappy with the recent VIFP club changes, they are stating that unless they sail 75 or more cruise days there is no kind of real VIFP benefit in staying loyal to Carnival. I just thoguht you would like to hear this feedback that I am getting, since the inception of taking away the VIFP party for Gold members and limiting them to a drink after 5PM on their last night of their cruise, which they say is making them feel even more unappreciated with the rules with the drink.
